Video Available for Faculty Conference Keynote
On April 20th, 2012, the 17th Annual DePaul Faculty Conference began with a keynote presentation from James Paul Gee, a leading scholar on the role of games in education. A recording of Gee's presentation is now available on the DePaul Teaching Commons.
Registration Open for December 2012 DOTS
Applications are being accepted for the December offering of the DePaul Online Teaching Series. This intensive faculty-development program for online instructors runs from Monday, November 26th through Friday, December 14th, with face-to-face meetings three times per week from 12/3 to 12/14. Interested faculty should read the DOTS overview for more information and complete the online application by September 21st.
Faculty Receive DePaul QM Star Award
In winter 2012, several instructors were recognized for online or hybrid courses that achieved perfect scores as part of the Quality Matters internal course review process. QM Star Award winners receive a certificate and cash award of $250. For more information, view the QM Star Award page.
